Gliding avalanches and wet snow slides are possible in isolated cases.

Rain. As a consequence of the precipitation, the likelihood of gliding avalanches and wet snow slides being released will increase in particular on steep slopes. Mostly they are small. At any time gliding avalanches and snow slides are possible.

Snowpack Structure

The snowpack will become wet all the way through in all altitude zones. The rain will give rise to rapid and thorough wetting of the snowpack over a wide area.
