Avalanche Activity

In some localities some new snow. Wet and gliding snow require caution.

Moist loose snow avalanches are to be expected, even medium-sized ones. In addition an appreciable danger of gliding avalanches exists, in particular on steep slopes below approximately 2200 m. Areas with glide cracks are to be avoided. The new snow and wind slabs of Monday can be released by a single winter sport participant in isolated cases in all aspects above the tree line.

Snowpack Structure

In some regions 5 to 20 cm of snow, and even more in some localities, will fall until Monday above approximately 1600 m. The snowpack will be moist below approximately 2200 m. The snowpack is largely stable.

Tendency

New snow above approximately 1700 m. In some localities up to 10 cm of snow will fall.
