Points saillants
Mid and low elevation areas in the forecast zone have very little or no snow on the ground. Above treeline, it is possible to find areas that have enough snow to ride. Although avalanches are unlikely, keep a watchful eye on the snow and changing conditions especially in steep extreme terrain where pockets of unstable snow may exist.
Avalanche Discussion
No specific avalanche problems are expected. As always, use safe travel practices and bring your avalanche rescue gear if you are venturing into the high elevations to get some turns. Looking into the extended weather forecast, the next storm system comes in early next week. Fingers crossed that the temperatures are conducive to snow. It is still too early to tell.
