Avalanche Activity

Gliding snow represents the main danger.

On steep grassy slopes individual gliding avalanches are possible. These can in some cases release the wet snowpack and reach medium size. Areas with glide cracks are to be avoided.

Snowpack Structure

The snowpack will be wet all the way through. The meteorological conditions will bring about a gradual strengthening of the snowpack. Some snow will fall in some localities. In particular at low and intermediate altitudes only a little snow is now lying.

Tendency

Slight increase in avalanche danger as a consequence of the snowfall.
