Points saillants

THE AVALANCHE DANGER IS ON THE RISE! The danger will most likely reach CONSIDERABLE today with the storm bringing snow and strong southwest wind. You will want to use caution for the rest of the week and into the weekend as another impulse should bring more snow on Friday into Saturday.

Recent Activity

On Tuesday a snowmobiler triggered an avalanche on a very steep wind loaded slope in the Gooseberry area which is in the Fish Lake region. It broke to the ground. No one was injured but one snowmobile sustained damage. The slope is one of the usual suspects as it often avalanches. DETAILS HERE.
