Stability: very poor · Frequency: few
Moist and wet avalanches are the main danger.
As a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation mostly small moist and wet avalanches are possible in all altitude zones. At the base of rock walls the likelihood of avalanches being released is greater.
Wind slabs are to be found adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. The various wind slabs have bonded quite well already together. The solar radiation will give rise to increasing moistening of the snowpack in particular on sunny slopes. The danger of moist and wet avalanches will decrease during the night.
