Avalanche Activity

In some localities increase in danger of wet and gliding avalanches as the moisture increases.

Individual small moist and wet avalanches are possible.

Snowpack Structure

In areas where the snow cover is rather shallow and on very steep sunny slopes thus far only a little snow is lying. Towards its surface, the snowpack is hard and its surface has a crust. The surface of the snowpack will soften during the day. Below approximately 1400 m only a little snow is lying.
