The general avalanche hazard remains MODERATE. Old hard slabs up to three feet in depth lie on a persistant weak layer of faceted snow. User triggered avalanches are possible in steep, wind loaded avalanche prone terrain primarily on northerly aspects. The surface strenght of these hard slabs may make it possible to make multiple passes over a slope before it slides.
