Points saillants

At the mid and upper elevations new light snow and strong Souothwesterly winds have formed soft slabs to a foot in depth in avalanche terrain. These slabs lie upon crusts and weak faceted snow and pockets of slab may be easily human triggered in wind loaded avalanche starting zones and cliff areas. The size and sensitivity of these slabs will increase today as additional snowfall and wind occur. At low elevations shallow soft slabs lie upon surface hoar and may be released in isolated pockets.
