Avalanche Summary

You can trigger an avalanche on slopes facing west through north to southeast. You are more likely to trigger avalanches where the snow cover thins, such as convex roll-overs, rocky areas, or the edges of gullies. Wind-sheltered areas and southerly slopes offer safer options.
