The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE in steep wind loaded upper elevation starting zones,steep gullies and cliff areas where loose snow sluffs and dense wind slabs up to 3 feet in depth could be triggered today. The general avalanche hazard is LOW below 8,000 feet where mostly stable snow exists and avalanches are unlikely except in isolated pockets.
