Points saillants
Wet loose snow will slough from sunlit cliff areas and steep slopes as the day warms and the snowpack softens. These sloughs or humans could trigger wet slabs up to 2 feet in depth especially in cliff areas, on steep banks and near rock outcrops. Be aware of the increase in the hazard as crusts soften and the snowpack weakens.Natural wet snow slides occured yesterday at mid elevations by 12:30 P.M.and temperatures are forecasted to be warmer today.
