Avalanche Summary

Although we're expecting freezing temperatures Monday night, temperatures will rise above freezing at lower elevations on Tuesday. You might still find wet snow at lower elevations and trigger an avalanche on very steep, slopes where you fall through the entire snowpack. These small avalanches can be problematic above terrain traps. If you're sinking past your ankles into wet snow, head to lower-angle slopes or call it a day.

New snow and wind starting Tuesday won't increase the avalanche danger until Wednesday.
