Points saillants

Over 60 inches of new snow has fallen at the mid and upper elevations in the past seven days. Backcountry users who venture into steep wind loaded avalanche starting zones are likely to trigger soft surface slabs one to four in depth and could trigger deeper hard slabs. Over 25 inches of new snow has fallen at the lower elevations in the past seven days. Hard and soft slabs one to three feet in depth could be human triggered on steep wind loaded aspects.
