Avalanche Summary

An Avalanche Warning is in effect for the Gore Range. Heavy snow and strong winds have created very dangerous avalanche conditions that will last through Saturday. Additional snow and strong winds on Saturday will bring another spike in avalanche activity. Travel in avalanche terrain is not recommended during this time. Avoid traveling under steep avalanche paths, even at lower elevations below treeline. Avalanches will run far, from ridgetop to valley floors.
