The snowpack will be generally subject to considerable local variations. As a consequence of warming during the day and the solar radiation, the likelihood of moist avalanches being released will increase gradually in particular on extremely steep sunny slopes. Individual gliding avalanches can also occur. The mostly small wind slabs can be released, especially by large additional loads, on very steep shady slopes at elevated altitudes.

The weather was mild. The weather conditions as the day progresses will give rise to moistening of the snowpack. In steep terrain there is a danger of falling on the hard snow surface. Over a wide area only a little snow is lying on south facing slopes.

The weather conditions will foster a gradual strengthening of the snowpack in all aspects.
