Points saillants

A ridge of high pressure will bring mostly sunny skies with some afternoon convection on Thursday. A frontal system will bring some snow and mod to strong S.W. winds on Friday. The ridge will rebuild for the weekend bringing dry air and lots of sun.

    The main concern in the snowpack is with wet loose snow avalanches on solar aspects in the afternoon. Pay attention to how hard of a freeze there was from the previous night and how quickly the snow is warming up. Start and finish yourr tours early.
