Points saillants

At the mid and upper elevations areas of soft surface slab one to four feet deep exist. These slabs have been formed by southwest to northwest winds and could be triggered by the weight of a single skier in steep wind loaded avalanche starting zones. Loose snow sluffs of significant size could also be human triggered on very steep slopes or release naturally on steep sunlit aspects. Avalanches are unlikely except in isolated pockets at the lower elevations.
