Points saillants

At the mid and upper elevations unstable slabs up to two feet in depth exist in steep wind loaded avalanche starting zones and cliff areas. These slabs lie upon hard crusts and weak layers of buried faceted snow and can be easily triggered by backcountry skiers or riders. CAUTION IS ADVISED. At the low elevations avalanches are unlikely except in isolated pockets.
