Points saillants
A variety of crusts formed by sunshine, melt-freeze cycles and a rime event at upper elevations and snowpack settlement have combined to increase the stability of the old snowpack. New, light density snow from 4 to 6 inches in depth fell Saturday on the old snow. Isolated, North facing surface pockets to ten inches could be human triggered and some loose snow may sluff off steep sunlit aspects and cliffbands as the day warms.
