Points saillants

The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Unstable soft slabs up to three feet in depth lie upon a weak faceted snowpack. These slabs could be triggered by riders and skiers in steep wind loaded avalanche prone terrain and on steep wind loaded banks. Deeper slabs could be triggered in the starting zones of major avalanche paths.
