Points saillants
At the upper elevations on northerly aspects isolated pockets of surface slabs to 14 inches in depth persist in shaded areas that could be human triggered in steep avalanche terrain. At the mid elevations isolated pockets of slab up to a foot in depth could be triggered on Northerly aspects. If significant warming and sunlight occur today these slabs at mid and upper elevations may become sensitive on other aspects as well where they lie upon an old rain/melt-freeze crust. Avalanches at low elevations are not expected today except for the possibility of wet slides in the afternoon only if rapid warming occurs. Yesterday a soft slab avalanche was skier triggered at 7800 ft on Teewinot Mountain during the heat of the day.
