Avalanche Summary

You might be able to trigger an avalanche at your feet or from a distance where recent winds drifted snow into firm cohesive slabs. The most dangerous slopes face north, northeast, and east where old snow lingers under the drifted snow. Look for instabilities like cracking and collapsing or avalanches on similar slopes and head to lower-angle terrain if you observe these signs.

With continued warming throughout the week, be aware of loose activity on steep, rocky slopes in the afternoon.
