Avalanche Summary

You may trigger a small avalanche where winds drifted recent snow into firm slabs above treeline. You are most likely to find drifted snow below ridgelines and in cross-loaded terrain features. Cracking or collapsing is an indication to avoid drifted areas on steep slopes.
