Slab avalanches and ground avalanches are possible. Further increase in danger of gliding avalanches as a consequence of warming.

The snowpack will be generally well bonded. In very isolated cases weak layers exist in the bottom section of the snowpack in particular on rather lightly snow-covered shady slopes. The weather conditions in the afternoon will give rise to gradual moistening of the snowpack.

On steep shady slopes slab avalanches are possible, but they can reach medium size in some cases. Weak layers near the ground can be released especially by large additional loads in particular at transitions from a shallow to a deep snowpack. As a consequence of warming, the likelihood of wet avalanches during the day being released will increase gradually in particular on very steep sunny slopes. They can be released naturally and reach medium size in isolated cases.
