The old snowpack remains generally stable. The avalanche prone locations are rather rare.
In particular on very steep slopes individual mostly small avalanches are possible. As a consequence of the precipitation the prevalence of the avalanche prone locations will increase as the day progresses.
Snowpack Structure
The snowpack will be generally well bonded. In some localities 10 cm of snow will fall.
Tendency
Light snowfall above approximately 1000 m.
