Problèmes avalancheux

  • Wind slab

    • Toutes altitudes

Avalanche Activity

In isolated cases small wind slabs formed.

In the last few days rather small wind slabs formed in particular at elevated altitudes. The fresh wind slabs can in isolated cases be released by people. In particular on very steep sunny slopes small moist avalanches are possible as a consequence of warming during the day, in particular below approximately 2700 m. Restraint should be exercised because avalanches can sweep people along and give rise to falls.

Snowpack Structure

Less snow than usual is lying. On sunny slopes below approximately 2600 m from a snow sport perspective, insufficient snow is lying. Faceted weak layers exist in the old snowpack especially on steep shady slopes. In the last few days hardly any more avalanches were reported.

Tendency

The avalanche danger will persist.
