Avalanche Summary
Most slopes have a thin snow cover and are generally safe from avalanches. Watch out for small pockets of wind-hardened snow on steep, northerly to east-facing slopes, as the few places you might want to avoid. Triggering even a tiny avalanche that carries you into exposed rocks below could be very consequential.
