Points saillants

New soft slabs up to 2 feet in depth formed overnight at the mid and upper elevation. These slabs were put in by Northwest winds and lie upon good sliding surfaces. With more snow and blowing snow in the forecast natural avalanches are possible and human triggered avalanches are likely today. At the lower elevations pockets of slab up to one foot in depth could be human triggered on steep wind loaded aspects. Good terrain evaluation skills are necessary for travel in avalanche terrain today.
