Points saillants
Soft surface slabs up to 4' in depth exist at mid and upper elevations. These slabs are likely to be triggered today on steep wind loaded aspects and in cliff areas, and could step down to burried layers or the ground. Yesterday there was a full track event on Mt. Hunt. Saturday a skier was injured in a slide in Horseshoe bowl north of Teton Pass and Friday a skier was killed in Granite Canyon when swept over a cliff by a small slab. Wet slides are possible this afternoon on steep sunlit aspects. Travel in avalanche terrain is not recommended today.
