Points saillants
A moist southerly flow has brought warm air to the area. Air temperatures rose to near 50 degrees yesterday and only fell into the low to mid 30s overnight. Wet loose and wet slab avalanches are possible today on very steep slopes and are most likely to occur later in the day. Once triggered these slides have some potential to entrain large volumes of snow and become destructive. Our final advisory of the season will be issued tomorrow morning. This advisory does not extend into terrain above an elevation of 10,500 feet.
