Points saillants
At the upper elevations, backcountry travelers could trigger shallow pockets of soft slab up to 12 inches in depth along with loose snow sluffs in steep, wind loaded avalanche terrain. As temperatures warm, any extended periods of sunshine will make these slides more susceptible to failure and sluffing of the new snow could occur spontaneously. At the mid and lower elevations, wet slides could become possible in the afternoon if sunny skies prevail.
