Avalanche Summary

Most slopes are safe, but you might find some isolated problem areas tomorrow. You might find weak areas near the treeline where stiff drifts are resting on weak snow in open areas. Cracking in drifted snow is a signal to be cautious around steep slopes in similar areas. At lower elevations, if you're sinking past your ankles into wet snow, you should also avoid similar steep slopes.

Snow arrives again on Friday and lasts into Sunday. Avoid steep leeward slopes if the storm arrives early and you find more than 6 inches of newly drifted snow on Friday afternoon. Intense snowfall on Friday night means the danger will jump to CONSIDERABLE (3 of 5) by Saturday morning.
