Points saillants

Avalanche activity is unlikely on Saturday. Stay on point with your observation skills and look for signs of unstable snow on isolated features, especially in steep and consequential terrain.

Avalanche Discussion

No major changes in the conditions compared to previous days. Some shaded slopes with thin snowpack are getting a touch of faceting near the surface during the overnight low temperatures. This is not a big concern right now with no new snow coming in and could easily go the other way and round out with the warm daytime temperatures.

I am still not expecting any wet loose avalanches with a warmer day coming up. The sun has not been having much effect on the snow surface; the rain crust has been staying firm and barely softening up enough in the sun to make for good riding condtions.
