Afternoon cloud cover and cooler air will reduce the chance of wet snow avalanches. That said, the snowpack will take a bit of time to solidify after days resembling a bowl of oatmeal.
Last night's freeze likely formed a formidable surface crust but under it, it's still a soggy mess. If the sun lingers longer than expected, these surface crusts may break down and you may find yourself sinking into slush.
Although likely to be small, these wet slides could easily sweep you off your feet or drag you somewhere you don't want to go. The consequences of being caught are amplified in areas above terrain traps like gullies, creek, or river bottoms.
