Forecast Snow Stability: The remaining soft snow patches will continue to deplete in the mild conditions. Stability will be good throughout. Greatest accumulations will be found mainly around coire rims, back walls and on ridge flanks. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: It will be a mild day with the freezing level above the summits. Overnight rain, which will mainly be confined to coastal hills, will gradually ease to leave a mainly dry afternoon. Very strong Southerly winds will veer to the South-West, easing to become fresh. Observed Weather Influences: It has been a dry morning with some light rain showers developing in the afternoon. Strong Southerly winds throughout the day. ObservedSnowStability: The remaining soft snow patches are stable and well bonded. Greatest amounts are found in high North to East facing coires. The avalanche hazard is Low.
