Sunshine yesterday created sun crusts on all sunlit aspects making these slopes mostly stable this morning. Periods of sunshine will make wet sloughs possible on sunlit slopes at all elevations this afternoon. On steep, north facing slopes at mid and upper elevations backcountry travelers could release soft slabs or sloughs to eighteen inches in depth.
