Avalanche Summary

Avoid steep slopes with more than about eight inches of recent snow. Winds during the storm left a patchwork of drifted snow in unusual places. You may find some spots drifted several feet deep. Observers reported easy-to-trigger avalanches in the recent snow. Expect fast changes in avalanche conditions as the recent snow warms. By midday, wet avalanche concerns develop on most sunny slopes.
