Avalanche Summary

Concerns for wet avalanches are increasing as temperatures climb after a brief cool-down Sunday night and Monday. Weak overnight freezes may lead to the supportable surfaces breaking down sooner than expected. To reduce your risk of wet avalanches, plan ahead to start and end the day early, avoiding steep slopes if you feel yourself sinking into the snowpack. Loose avalanches could trigger more destructive Wet Slab avalanches, especially on northeast and northwest slopes near and above treeline, where the most concerning snowpack structure exists
