Points saillants

Above 9000, recently formed soft surface slabs could be triggered in very steep terrain. A remote chance also persists to trigger deep hard slab avalanches in isolated avalanche paths. Below 9000 feet, the snowpack is mostly stable and avalanches are unlikely.

Avalanche Discussion

( Discussion is generated from the previous day's afternoon forecast. )A chance for occasional isolated snow shower activity exists into Saturday morning. Thin clouds are to prevail through most of the day with increasing chances for sunshine in the afternoon. Temperatures are to rise into the mid to upper twenties at 9000 feet. The general avalanche hazard will remain Moderate above 9000 feet. Wind slabs with depths that could reach two feet in some areas lie on hard snow surfaces. Below 9000 feet the snowpack is stable and avalanche activity is unlikely.
