Points saillants
At the upper elevations back country travelers could trigger surface slabs formed earlier this week to depths of two feet in steep wind loaded terrain. Increasing temperatures and sunlight will weaken these slabs during the day today increasing their sensitivity as well as providing the potential for wet slides involving the recently fallen snow. Wet slides will also become possible at mid elevations this afternoon.
