Mostly stable snow exists and avalanches are unlikley except in isolated pockets at the upper elevations. With 30 inches of new snow and a winter storm warning in Lander, Wyoming the avalanche hazard is likely to be significantly higher in the mountain ranges along and east of the continental divide.
