Avalanche Summary

Generally safe avalanche conditions exist. The few places you could trigger a small pocket of snow are on wind-loaded north to northeast-facing slopes generally above 12,000 feet. If you notice a dense layer of snow one to two feet deep below a ridgeline, or see cracking in the snow around your feet, consider moving to shallower terrain. Even a small avalanche can sweep you into exposed rocks below.

Join the Friends of CAIC on Saturday, Nov. 22 at the Breckenridge Riverwalk Center for the 18th annual CAIC Benefit Bash - the season's biggest fundraiser for avalanche safety. Tickets are available here <https://breckcreate.org/events/caic-benefit-bash>
