Points saillants

Surface slabs up to three feet in depth exist at the upper elevations. These slabs could be human triggered this morning especially in cliff areas and in steep wind loaded starting zones. As the day progresses the hazard will rapidly increase. The forecast sunshine and warm temperaures are expected to trigger natural slab avalanches and wet slides as the day warms. This activivty is likely to extend into the mid elevations especially on the eastern front of the Teton Range. TRAVEL IN UPPER ELEVATION AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT RECOMMEDED AFTER SIGNIFICANT WARMING HAS OCCURED.
