Points saillants
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Mostly stable snow exists, however, DANGEROUS slabs up to six feet in depth lie on hard crusts on steep slopes with northerly aspects above 8000'. Many such slabs naturally released in the Tetons over the last several days and could be human triggered today by highmarking snowmobilers, skiers, and snowboarders. On other aspects isolated pockets of slab could be triggered on steep wind loaded starting zones and cliff areas. Beware of steep gullies and terrain traps at all elevations.
