The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. New surface soft slabs lie upon hard slabs from recent storms. The new slabs will be sensitive to backcountry users today. The underlain hard slabs to four feet in depth could be triggered today by larger triggers such as snow machines on steep slopes at the higher elevations.
