Avalanche Summary

An Avalanche Watch is in effect for Wednesday morning through Wednesday night. Strong westerly winds and heavy snow will create very dangerous avalanche conditions.

You can trigger an avalanche breaking around 2 feet deep and large enough to bury you. The most suspect slopes face northwest to north through east.

Slopes less than about 30 degrees in steepness, without steep overhead terrain, and southerly-facing slopes offer safer riding options.

Steep sunny slopes could produce small wet avalanches in the afternoon.
