Forecast Snow Stability: The snowpack will remain frozen and stable. Main accumulations will be in high North and East facing corries above 900 metres. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: It is forecast to remain dry and cold with light variable winds. Observed Weather Influences: After some very slight snowfall in the morning it was a dry day with light North-Easterly winds. The freezing level was poorly defined due to a temperature inversion. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack is generally firm and and stable at all levels with some softening in direct sun. Greatest accumulations are in North and East facing corries above 900 metres. The avalanche hazard is Low.
