Avalanche Activity

The new snow and wind slabs must be evaluated with care and prudence in all aspects.

The fresh snow as well as the resulting wind slabs must be evaluated with care and prudence. This applies in particular in the regions exposed to heavier precipitation. In all aspects medium-sized and, in isolated cases, large avalanches are possible. Avalanches can be released, in particular by large loads. The avalanche prone locations are to be found in all aspects.

Snowpack Structure

The new snow and wind slabs are bonding poorly with the old snowpack in many places. As a consequence of falling temperatures a crust will form on the surface during the next few days. In many places there is a danger of falling on the hard crust.

Tendency

The weather will be cloudy over a wide area. Light precipitation.
