Snowpack Structure

In some localities in some localities up to 60 cm of snow has fallen above approximately 1800 m. The snowpack will be generally unstable. As a consequence of new snow and wind the wind slabs have increased in size additionally. Towards its base, the snowpack is faceted.

Tendency

Over a wide area the wind slabs will increase in size additionally. The weather will be cold. The wind will be strong at times.
